We are working with Sheffield City Council and other partners to prepare for the roll out of Universal Credit in Sheffield from November 2018 onwards. We have issued two briefings, providing detailed background information about Universal Credit and about the steps we are taking to prepare for its roll out.
To find out more, see briefings on ourreports page.
Citizens Advice Sheffield will be working in partnership with Sheffield City Region on a new project called Building Better Opportunities.
Building Better Opportunities – Sheffield City Region (BBO SCR) is an integrated, person centred service for people with physical and mental health conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs. It’s based on Individual Placement Support, a “place then train” approach that’s shown to be twice as effective as traditional approaches.
We have released our new service development and delivery plans for 2018/19, which our Board of Trustees approved yesterday. Here is the ‘plan on a page‘ for a summary of what is included in the plans.
