Joanne began her career in advice as a volunteer in 2001 before moving into paid advice work and in time becoming the manager of Foxhill and Parsons Cross Advice Centre. She joined Citizens Advice Sheffield when it was formed through the merger of several local organisations in 2014 and took on her current role of Head of Advice in 2017. As a member of the senior management team, Joanne leads and manages the provision and development of generalist and specialist advice, ensuring services are accessible and of a high quality and that staff and volunteers are well-supported and effectively trained.
