Universal Credit briefings on roll out in Sheffield

We are working with Sheffield City Council and other partners to prepare for the roll out of Universal Credit in Sheffield from November 2018 onwards.  We have issued two briefings, providing detailed background information about Universal Credit and about the steps we are taking to prepare for its roll out.

Working with Sheffield City Region

Citizens Advice Sheffield will be working in partnership with Sheffield City Region on a new project called Building Better Opportunities.

Building Better Opportunities – Sheffield City Region (BBO SCR) is an integrated, person centred service for people with physical and mental health conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs.  It’s based on Individual Placement Support, a “place then train” approach that’s shown to be twice as effective as traditional approaches.

We are looking for a new chief executive

Our current chief executive is retiring, so we wish to appoint an experienced leader to lead the next phase of our development.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality.
